This species is very popular and easy to care for, but it does require protection from severe frost and intense sunlight.  Their leaves change colour three times; in Spring, Summer and Autumn. They are deciduous trees that must live outdoors year-round to experience necessary winter dormancy. They require a balance of generous watering, partial shade, and consistent pruning to thrive.
